Research Interests

As a naturalist, I am driven to conserve and protect wild spaces, better manage urbanization, and both prepare for & combat global change during the anthropocene. As a scientist, I am interested in finding patterns and connections between seemingly different fields.  I aim to find the resonance in these projects, leverage their intersections, and approach ecological problems in unexpected, exciting ways. How can my background and geology, hydrology, and Mars analogues contribute to palynology and pollinator science? Let’s find out.
